#LIL WAYNE: “Young Money Anit Doing Summer Jam” + Angela Simmons & LIL ROMEO Boo’d UP…. WESTPOPPN.COM
Our good friend and Hot 97 DJ, Funkmaster Flex, took the stage during Summer Jam and threw shots at Nicki Minaj. He said,
“We ain’t fucking with commerical rappers no more. If you lost the streets it’s your fault. I’m dedicated to tearing you down…You think you didn’t sell any records this time!”
What’s Summer Jam without a little drama? Just a few short hours ago NICKI MINAJ, one of the headliners at this year’s Hot 97 Summer Jam tweeted:
And a short while later, the YMCMB head honcho, LIL WAYNE tweeted:
Hmmmm..what happened in those few short hours to make Wayne pull the plug?
Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg …made a comment that Young Money wasn’t too fond of while on air during the pre-show to the effect of,
“Shout out to all my real hip-hop heads and none of these Starship artists”
And this, caused Wayne to pull all of YMCMB out of the show. Rosenberg later tweeted:
So, how does this affect the show? Out of the entire YMCMB crew only Nicki Minaj and Tyga were confirmed to perform (although Nicki inevitably would have brought the whole family out with her.)
Tyga has already taken the stage and performed his set, but he will be the last of the Young Money crew who makes an appearance.

LIL WAYNE AND DRAKE ..SAY….We Are NOT Paying A $400,000 Judgment for A GIG they were never told about!!! !
#LIL WAYNE & #DRAKE ..WE ARE NOT PAYING A $$400,000 JUDGEMENT!
Lil Wayne and Drake say there is NO WAY IN HELL they’re gonna fork over $400,000 to a company that sued them for allegedly bailing on a club appearance … because they claim they were never told about the gig.
The rappers have joined together to fight a default judgment entered against them. The judge ordered the duo to pay $432,337.50 to Imperial Entertainment Group. The company sued, alleging L.W. and Drake promised to perform at a 2011event but were no shows.
The rappers now claim in legal docs … they were never told about the appearance, never signed ANY contracts and were never even served with papers to show up in court.
Drake and Lil Wayne allege that IEG used a third party to book them — Melanzh Enterprises — which they claim had no authority to book them.
The two want the court to cancel the $400k plus judgement … STAT.(tmz)
